While, Sunrise does not currently have staff dedicated to direct youth education, our membership in the Clackamas River Water Providers assures that Staff that are specifically geared toward this pursuit deliver messages about good stewardship of our water resources to the youth in our service area. The internet provides a bewildering array of educational resources on water for parents and children. Links to several popular and engaging sites are provided below.

Clackamas River Water Providers - The CRWP has a number of programs available to assist teachers and students in our service area as they engage in learning activities related to water. These programs range from assemblies to water treatment plant tours, and from supplemental funding through mini grants for water related class projects to transportation support for water related field trips.

Regional Water Providers Consortium – The Regional Water Providers Consortium hosts a webpage games and activities just for kids. They also provide teacher resources and materials for schools in our service area.

Project WET – A really excellent site for educational activities and games on all aspects of water, from the water cycle to water use. The graphics are top notch and very child friendly and engaging.

H2ouse – A good resource for adult information about improving the water efficiency of your home and landscape.

Water– Use it Wisely – Engaging games and activities about water conservation for kids.
