Winter weather is setting in and work on Reservoir 11 will be suspended until spring. We were pushing to complete backfilling prior to the end of the construction season, but nearly record rainfall in September made that impossible. Continuing to work through the wet weather would create extremely muddy conditions thus making it very difficult to keep the neighborhood streets clean as they transport fill material into the site and virtually impossible to properly complete the backfilling.
During the winter, there will be minimal activity at the site. There may be some minor on site work including erosion control and a small project connecting the storm pipe in the street. Sunrise and the City will be periodically checking on the site but if you observe any issues please contact Dan Fraijo at 503-572-6018.
While construction is suspended there will be few authorized personnel on site. We would ask that if you see anyone on site that looks as if they do not belong, or is not wearing a safety vest, please contact our office to let us know.
Backfilling and site grading will resume in the spring as soon as weather and site conditions permit, with landscaping to follow in the fall.
