Our mission is to provide safe, reliable drinking water. It’s what we do!
Most of your water comes from the Clackamas River and is treated by plants owned and operated by the Clackamas River Water and the North Clackamas County Water Commission. These plants are designed and operated by highly trained professionals, certified by the State of Oregon. The water from these sources is purchased and delivered to us as part of on-going wholesale agreements. We also own and operate a series of ground water wells that are used to supplement the primary wholesale (surface water) sources.
The water from all sources consistently meets or exceeds all federal and state drinking water standards, including all restrictions on the many regulated biological and chemical contaminants. We invite you to read our annual water quality report. You will find a summary of the periodic testing results and other recorded monitoring details.
Moreover, we are always on the job and at your service. Your water system is monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through an advanced, state-of-the-art system that relies on a combination of remote (telemetry) sensors, scheduled sampling and laboratory testing, and direct inspection of facilities by staff. Staff are also “on-call” around the clock and are prepared to respond to emergencies at any time. We want you to feel safe about your water – it’s our honor to serve you!
